‘Target Overview’ – An overview of targets for each year group and for each term specific to a certain subject. These targets will be set from data analysis.

‘Could Should Must’ – A drilled down version of the target overview for use each term – each term will have specific targets and should be set within the parameters of ‘Could achieve’, Should achieve’ and ‘Must achieve’.

‘Target Getting’ – A further drilled down version of the could, should and must. This will provide information of how the teacher will ensure the children meet their targets, it will include specific teaching strategies and links to other key information.

Data Analysis

A selection of assessment tracking sheets from Y1 to Y6. These sheets will enable you to track progress for each year group across throughout the year. On entry to the year an assessment is made and recorded, at the end of the year a further assessment is made and recorded.

In July this information is entered onto the relevant grid, on-entry attainment in the vertical column, on-exit attainment in the horizontal row. Where the two meet enter the name of the child or children. This will enable you to pick out certain groups of children who need targeting or boosting for the next academic year i.e. underachieving gifted and talented, SEN, children not making expected levels of progress etc.

For further exemplification see the worked examples in the folder.
